Most sensory support starts with a conversation. This is what comes after that. The Sensory Space Site Consultation is an in-person visit — your DSS consultant comes to you. Your home, your classroom, your office, your facility. They walk the space with you, assess it through a clinical and neurodivergent lens, and during that visit give you real, usable information about what's working against your nervous system and what can be changed. This isn't a preliminary sales call. You will leave this visit with knowledge. Here's how it works: Your consultant visits your space — currently serving the Maryland area, with select travel available for qualifying projects. Virtual space assessments are available for clients outside Maryland. During the 50-minute consultation, they assess lighting, acoustics, airflow, layout, transitions, sensory load, and accommodation gaps — identifying what's causing dysregulation and what modifications would make the biggest difference. At the end, you have two paths: Path 1 — You build it yourself: You receive a complete, personalized DIY Sensory Space Blueprint — a written document specifying exactly what to change, what to buy, how to arrange it, and why. Clear enough that anyone can execute it. No contractor required unless you want one. Path 2 — We build it with you: Custom sensory room builds and accessibility installations are available for qualifying projects. If your assessment identifies a build opportunity, we walk you through scope, timeline, and pricing. Inquire to check build availability. This service pairs directly with the Sensory Clarity Report Consultation: If you've already completed a Sensory Clarity Report session, this is the natural next step — taking what was identified about your sensory profile and applying it to the physical space where you live, work, or learn. If you haven't done a Sensory Clarity Report yet, we will incorporate that clinical lens into the site visit. This consultation is for: — Families building or modifying a sensory room at home — Schools and therapy clinics needing a professional assessment — Adults who need their living or work environment modified for sensory regulation — Anyone who has a space that isn't working for their nervous system and wants to know why You don't have to know what you need. That's what the visit is for. Pricing starts at $249. Build project credits apply if you move forward with construction.
